Edwinstowe nursery children enjoy alfresco dining

Youngsters at an Edwinstowe nursery took advantage of April’s dry and sunny weather by having meals and naps outside to boost their ‘health and wellbeing’.

Staff at Cherubs Edwinstowe say the children who attend the nursery are ‘passionate’ about accessing outdoor play and spending as much time as possible outside.

"The children asked to eat out and also asked to have a nature nap in our garden,” said Sarah Hickling, nursery manager.

“We realise the amazing benefits it has on the children’s health and wellbeing as well as also promoting good mental health.

"Children are calm and relaxed after a day in our nursery and parents comment their children sleep better after being at Cherubs Edwinstowe.

“We have spaces available for children to join in with our fabulous activities.”
