Covid-19 vaccination bus comes to Mansfield

A mobile Covid-19 vaccination bus is coming to Mansfield tomorrow (Tuesday) as part of efforts to make sure as many people as possible have access to the jab.

The bus, which helps to get the vaccination rolled out in areas where take up has been lower, will stop off in at Oak Tree Tesco, from 1-4pm.

NHS officials have teamed up with Mansfield District Council and voluntary and community organisations to bring the service to the district – and anyone who lives in the Oak Tree area and is eligible for a vaccination is urged to go along.

They can drop in or book an appointment online using the Swiftqueue service at www.swiftqueue.co.uk/nottinghamc19vbus.php.

A team of NHS staff will be on board the bus to administer the vaccine.

Meanwhile, anyone currently eligible for vaccination – including those aged 44 or over, clinically vulnerable, carers or a frontline health and social care worker – can also book in at any vaccination site across the city or county.
