A Nottinghamshire care home group has been embracing the Christmas season with a range of festive activities, events and celebrations this December.

Church Farm Care has been holding activities at all five of its homes, including Wren Hall, on Nottingham Road in Selston, where the Christmas celebrations have featured an intergenerational cookie baking session alongside children from the adjoining Little Wrens Nursery.

Everyone enjoyed rolling dough and cutting festive shapes as well as enjoying their cookies afterwards.

Lucy Atkinson, co-founder and director of Church Farm Care, said: “Celebrations like these are at the heart of what we do.

"They bring joy, connection and laughter to our homes and remind us of the value of shared experiences.

"It’s wonderful to see our family members and teams coming together to make this time of year so special.

"Church Farm Care remains committed to creating meaningful experiences for our family members by nurturing local relationships and offering opportunities for social connection both within our homes and the wider community.

"These festive celebrations are just one of many ways that we continue to support engagement and wellbeing across our homes.”
