Calling all budding young Mansfield dancers and musicians as dance and music projects return

After a year of delivering their weekly dance and music projects online the Inspire Youth Arts team are back and looking for new recruits.

Based at The Old Library in Leeming Street, Mansfield, the Inspire Youth Arts team offer exciting opportunities for young people to take part in arts projects and programmes in dance, music and digital.

Sam Holgate-Davey, principal arts officer for Inspire Youth Arts said “we’re just so happy to finally be back meeting with our groups each week and seeing the amazing talent Mansfield has to offer.

Circus skills and festival helped promote 'serious message' in Mansfield

As well as a number of contemporary dance groups at venues across the county, the team also run a street dance group, MX Street Dance Collective, at the Old Library each week with various sessions tailored for the complete beginner through to more advanced dancers and for the more musically minded they have a wide range of music sessions taking place, from their very own Old Library Rock School programme and Singer-Songwriter Academy, to swing bands, choirs steel pans and urban music.
