Kevin Henshaw was named Community Coach of the Year at the awards, which celebrate the efforts and achievements of individuals and groups who are using physical activity to help improve people’s lives.Kevin is central to everything at Starbox Gym in Stanton Hill and his approach of talking to local young people about what they would like from the gym and what it would take to encourage them to participate in activity has led to Starbox not only being a boxing gym but a social hub where they can meet other local young people, feel safe and progress in a meaningful physical activity.
