Shops are full of festive items and big companies like John Lewis have unveiled their annual festival adverts for the year.
But for many people, Christmas feels like it’s started when local town centres switch on their annual festive lights.
Far more than just flickng a switch, Christmas Lights switch-ons have now become one of the big community events on the calendar with the music, fairground rides, festive stalls and markets and, of course, Father Christmas himself.
Hundreds turn out each year for these events and this week and coming weekend sees several taking place.
Here’s when the nearest one to you will be happening.
And if you know of one that’s not on this list, tell us and we’ll add it.
