No doubt, thousands of us will be off to the One Call Stadium to see if the Stags can maintain their charge towards promotion when they take on Leyton Orient.
But there are many other ways to spend your free time this Saturday and Sunday, so we have come up with our weekly guide to events, things to do and places to go, both in the Mansfield and Ashfield area and further afield across the county.
From exciting adventures at Sherwood Pines to art and culture at The Harley Gallery, from fun in the pool at Water Meadows to laughs on the stage with Ed Byrne, there’s something to suit all tastes.
Please visit the websites of the individual venues to check on opening times and prices, and also to familiarise yourself with any Covid-19 restrictions that might still be in place.
Have a great weekend!

5. Explore Maun Valley Park
This is our third look at Mansfield's unheralded nature reserves. Maun Valley Park is the largest in the district, covering 17 hectares of protected habitats alongside the river and comprising ancient oak woodland, grassland, trees, shrubs and water meadows. The sandy banks along the river are home to insects and many types of fungi. Photo: Submitted

6. Curious about Newark?
Last week, we told you how to find out more about Southwell. This week, it's the turn of Newark, where two quirky, self-guided heritage walks have been organised. Buy a printed booklet or download its digital version to your phone, follow the map and off you go. Detailed directions to all the main sights are provided, and one of the walks even has a treasure hunt theme for the kids. Photo: Submitted

7. On the run in Clumber Park
Hundreds of us start the weekend with a Saturday morning parkrun to blow away the cobwebs. Runners of all ages and abilities gather at venues across the district, one of which is Clumber Park, south of Worksop. It's not a race, but a five-kilometre, timed run that can be fun or as part of a training plan. Photo: Rachel Atkins

8. Made in Mansfield
'Made In Mansfield', an exhibition about the people and companies that turned the town into a centre of industry, is a popular staple of Mansfield Museum and well worth a visit. It focuses on eight of the most well-known industries that built the town's reputation for manufacturing, including beer-making by Mansfield Brewery (pictured on its last day of production in 2001) Photo: Submitted
