Oppose plans, say firefighters
The Transforming Service Delivery 2022 consultation proposes all four towns share two fire engines operating from a central Ripley station.
Derbyshire Fire Brigades Union (FBU) members say the plans will mean the loss of 16 fire engines, 11 fire stations and 100 full-time firefighters.
