This is what Mansfield Chad readers thought of the new Cadbury Creme Egg advert

The advert has received mixed reviews online, with audiences split between praising the confectionery company and those who felt it was too steamy for day time TV.
Reader Nerissa Hursthouse said: “People are just far too opinionated in the wrong ways and you’d think with Black Lives Matter last year we’d all stop the unnecessary hate towards people who are and look different ... love is love.

Hide Ad“There’s nothing wrong with the advert , it supports LGBT without pointing out it supports that.
"It simply is a couple sharing a cream egg.”
Clare Lou agrees, she said: “ Why is this a topic of debate?
"If someone is offended by two guys sharing a Creme Egg then they have very little else to worry about in the midst of a pandemic!“Don’t like it? Don’t look!”
Shane Draper said: “People got upset over a couple sharing a creme egg?!
“Lockdown really got us messed up.”

Hide AdBut most of our readers were not concerned over the content of the advert but instead were enraged that anybody would share the chocolate treat.
Caril Ann Reid said: “It's a crime to share a Creme Egg due to shrinking of them over years.”Making them hard for one person to enjoy never mind two.”
Reader Darren John Hunt agrees.
He said: “I'm annoyed that Cadbury’s are suggesting I can share my Creme Egg with anyone.
“Not going to happen.”
Kirsty Richardson said: “I'm offended that someone would share a Creme Egg.

However other readers are not a fan of the Easter treat.
David Walker said: “I have no problem with the advert we’re not stuck in the fifties.
“However I think the eggs should be banned as there disgusting.”
