LETTER: We need more speed limit signs

I agree with Debra (Chad Letters, August 27th) re speed cameras: some speed limits in Mansfield have been changed from 40mph to 30mph, but no revised speed limit signs erected.

Old Mill Lane, Forest Town, has been changed from 40 to 30 mph, - the 40 sign on brow of hill removed but no 30mph sign put up.

About a month ago there was a mobile camera van on the brow of the hill, pointing down for traffic coming up-hill from Asda round-a-bout. So yes, it does feel like a set up.

Why can’t we have more signs when the speed limit is changed, or is it more profitable to try and catch us out?
