LETTER: I risked my life to help those in need

On Boxing Day I risked my life driving to work in the snow to look after very poorly patients inside Nottingham City Hospital.

I have since spoken to Ashfield District Council, Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council to find out why the roads were not gritted over Christmas.

Their response: “Traffic on those days isn’t a priority because it isn’t very busy”.
