Everyone quite understandably has so many questions about what is happening and why, and about what comes next.

My team are still working, though now from home, and are accessible to you for help.

You can get in touch by email on [email protected] and on 01623 372016.

We’re getting a huge number of questions and queries at the minute but we’re working through them, so get in touch if you need to.

First though, I wanted to take this opportunity to direct you to the best sources of help and advice, places to look before you come to me, where you may be able to find these answers.

I should add that 90 per cent of what I have been asked about coronavirus are things that are already in the public domain, so here are a few of the best places to look.

If you’re after general basic advice on coronavirus, like what it is, what support is out there, what’s happening with schools or businesses for example, then click here where they have collated all the basic information. It’s a great place to start.

If you’re a business, self-employed person or employee looking for information about the various support systems that are in place, such as grants and loans or tax relief, then you can find much of this here where there are all the various schemes and how to apply for them.

Some are available now, some are works in progress, but all of the information is there.

For health advice, go here to find what you need.

Please don’t call 111 unless you really have to, as we all need to try and keep the line clear for those who really need it.

Of course, if you can’t find what you need on these sites, or you’re still not sure what it all means, then get in touch with us and we can help.

You’ve no doubt seen that the advice is changing as we go along, and measures become more serious as the virus continues to spread.

It’s up to all of us to follow the health advice to stay home wherever possible, to protect our NHS and keep people safe.
