AN Ollerton charity shop is urging residents to get into gear and help raise cash with a sponsored cycle on 16th July.
Staff and volunteers at Sue Ryder want people to pedal on an exercise bike for 15 minutes each outside their shop.
It is part of the charity’s annual nationwide event called ‘Ride for Ryder’, which will see sponsored bike rides taking place across the country.
Each participant is urged to gain as much sponsorship as possible and there are various slots between 9am-6pm for people to volunteer for.
Sue Ryder is a provider of hospice and neurological care which funds care homes across the UK as well as providing home care for people.
To take part in the cycle call into the Sue Ryder shop, on Forest Road, to collect a sponsorship form.
