Off-road bikers warned over nuisance riding in Bilsthorpe

Two off-road bikers have been given warnings for causing 'alarm, distress and annoyance' to others.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said a male and a female have been warned for “riding off road motorbikes causing alarm, distress and annoyance to pedestrians and other road users” in Bilsthorpe.

The offences took place on the Southwell Trail and Mickledale Lane.

The spokesman said: “If they continue to ride in this manner within the next 12 months they are at risk of having the bikes seized.”

Elsewhere, a vehicle showing no road tax and insurance was seized from The Crescent, Bilsthorpe.

In Clipstone, a blue Volkswagen Polo was seized and the driver reported for driving offences following complaints of a nuisance vehicle in the South Crescent area.
