The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow which will persist into Wednesday afternoon.
It will be cold again, with icy patches. Outbreaks of sleet and snow through the morning could settle in places, most likely on higher ground. Accumulations of 2-5 cm are likely in places.
The sleet and snow will ease through the afternoon but motorists are still urged to take care when driving on the county’s roads.
