Notts traffic updates: Coach crash on M1

What’s happening on the roads this afternoon (Tuesday 5th May) as we approach rush hour?

At least 36 people have been injured in a coach crash on the M1 this afternoon, and southbound section of the M1 has been closed at Junction 30 while police and fire crews continue to work at the scene.

The roads around Worksop are looking clear, though traffic heading out of the town eastwards is queuing on the A57 with delays of approximately eight minutes.

Mansfield is looking busy, with delays of around three minutes heading southeast on Butt Lane and delays of around six minutes on Leeming Lane North heading southeast.

There are delays on Arlington Way in Retford heading northwards of around two minutes.
