Nottinghamshire residents to receive Queens Birthday Honours this year

Three Nottinghamshire residents are to receive Queens birthday honours this year.

Anita May Parker, Andrew Arrowsmith and Anne Callaghan will get British Empire Medals for their hard work in the community.

Mrs Parker, 85, from Mansfield, is the founder of Woodside Farm Stables, Riding for the Disabled Association. She is receiving the award for her services to People with Disabilities.

Southwell’s Mr Arrowsmith, 71, will receive the award for his services to charity over the years.

Mrs Callaghan, of Mansfield Woodhouse, has given her services to children and families as a parenting practitioner.
