The Easter family day out is an essential part of the long bank holiday weekend.

But once admission fees, travel and lunch is factored in, the cost of many tourist attractions can really stack up.

So which are the places in Notts that you can still enjoy on a budget?

Rufford Abbey Country Park, Ollerton

Hoyle K said: “The gardens and pathways are stunning, gorgeous walks, huge lake, the house is massive, great for walking dogs and pets and can get you out the house for two hours!”

Rushcliffe Country Park, Loughborough Road, Ruddington

Clumber Park, Worksop
