NHS Jarrow Marchers stage a rally this evening in Mansfield Marketplace before tomorrow’s march

A Modern day Jarrow march by hundreds of people campaigning to save the NHS will pass through Ashfield tomorrow 28th August.

The 300 mile trek in protest against privatising the National Health Service has been inspired by the famous march of 1936, against poverty and unemployment.

A rally in Mansfield Marketplace this evening will give the people of Mansfield an opportunity to show support for the current NHS and join in a fun welcome for the marchers.
