“Making the list of finalists again is testament to the hard work of the whole Bunches team,” said managing director, Dan Turner. “We’re a family business committed to doing a great job for our customers.

“It just goes to show that putting customers first and selling great quality products makes good business sense in the long run.”

Bunches started trading in 1989 and has now grown to dispatch over half a million bouquets each year and employs 50 people.

It was founded by Erik and Sandra Hoving and the business remains family owned and managed.

Andrew McClelland, Shortlisting Judge for the category said: “Bunches is showing strong growth in an ultra-competitive marketplace where the main competitors are household names.

“Impressive ‘field-to-customer’ vision, family values and adoption of new skills amongst a motivated team have helped Bunches reach the shortlist.”

Now entering their 12th year, the National Business Awards connect the nations’ business leaders through its annual ceremony and year-round programme to celebrate enterprise excellence.
