New Sutton base for A.Wass funeral directors

The Coroner for Nottingham Mairin Casey officially opened the new premises of A Wass Funeral Directors at Priestic Road, Sutton, on Friday 8th August.

The Coroner was shown around the premises by Director Paul Brown (pictured).

The ceremony was attended by more than 150 people including ministers, doctors and nurses and members of the public. A reception was held at the Carnavon Arms in Teversal.

A Wass established as Funeral Directors in 1903 and is the oldest funeral directors in Sutton In Ashfield. The firm was in its previous premises on Stoneyford Road for 108 years.
