New Italian restaurant to open

Bella Vita is set to open on Monday, March 14 in Ollerton near Mansfield, and business partners Antonio and Amadeus say they are keen to get the doors open.

Bella Vita is a new independent restaurant set in picturesque surroundings, at the site of the former Snooty Fox, with views and sounds of the river rolling right along the outside dining area, and the pair of foodies are hoping the venue can hold large events and live music nights alongside the usual dining.

They said: "We would like to take this opportunity to welcome all our new customers to our grand opening on Monday.

"We cater for all occasions birthday, anniversary, weddings etc just call for details.

"The setting makes it an ideal place for a wedding reception which we already have a booking for, because of the setting.

Antonio and Amadeus first met 15 years ago in Italy and have been firm friends ever since.

The pair added: "It's has always been our intention to open a restaurant together and now our dream is fullfilled."

Amadeus won best chef in 2014-2015 and celebrated with none other than award winning chef Aldo Zilli.

He added: "We're fully booked for the open evening, but bookings are still being taken from the 15th!
