The Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) will be opening a new ‘drop-in’ advice service at Blidworth from this Wednesday, 17th September.
The service will be located at Blidworth GP Surgery on Mansfield Road and will be available every Wednesday from 10am to 1pm each week. On the second Wednesday of each month the service will finish at 12 Noon.
The CAB offers free, confidential, impartial and independent advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. Help and information is available for problems with welfare benefits, debt, consumer, employment, housing among other areas of concern.
The outreach advice service is available on a ‘drop in’ basis so there are no appointments.
Catriona Paterson the Newark and Sherwood Advice HUB Project Coordinator said: “The outreach service in Blidworth is designed to be local so that residents can have the opportunity to seek advice for any issues they are facing and get the support they need. “We want to encourage use of the advice service in Blidworth and look forward to seeing as many people as possible each week.”
