New crossing planned for Bulwell road

Nottingham City Council are planning to spend an estimated £2,000 to look into the possibility of providing a new zebra crossing in Bulwell.

A feasibility study is to be carried out for the proposed crossing on Hempshill Lane, near the recreation park and Northern Cemetery, as part of the council’s capital programme for this year.

At a meeting of Nottingham’s Bulwell and Bulwell Forest Area Committee this week, it was reported that this would be a priority scheme to decide on the best way to provide the crossing.
