New contacts for grass cutting queries

Residents in Ashfield and Mansfield are being asked to call new numbers if they have any enquiries about grass cutting this summer.

Following a review of its highway environmental maintenance programme, Nottinghamshire County Council’s transport and highways committee has approved offers from Ashfield District, Mansfield District and Broxtowe Borough councils to deliver grass cutting and weed control services in their areas for the next three years.

They also have the option of extending the arrangement by a further two years if they wish.

All enquiries or service requests relating to grass cutting and weed control public highways in the Ashfield area should be directed to 0800 183 84 84 or [email protected].

Queries relating to Mansfield roads should now be made via Mansfield 463463.
