New bus route from villages to shops

From 28th October, G&J Holmes is operating a new 149 bus route which will take people to the shops at the East Midlands Designer Outlet, Alfreton and Sutton.

It will serve residents of Hallfieldgate, Morton, Tibshelf, Blackwell and Hilcote, who will be able to travel through to the shops using the new bus service on Mondays to Saturdays.

The 149 bus will be running between 9.25am and 5pm, providing many new and improved links for the villages on route.

Derbyshire’s residents will be able to use their Gold Cards to obtain free travel.

G&J Holmes, which is a Clay Cross-based family-owned bus and coach company, has issued a timetable leaflet with full details of the new service. The new times are posted on many bus stops on route.
