The Commission proposes that Ashfield should be represented by 35 councillors in the future, two more than the current arrangements - and that those councillors should represent 13 single-member wards, eight two-member wards and two three-member wards across the district.

The new arrangements must now be implemented by Parliament and will come into force at the council elections in 2015.
