Murder victim named
The victim of a murder in Bestwood Park has been formally named as Shanay Rihanna Walker.
The seven-year-old was found dead on at a house in Beckhampton Road on Thursday 31st July.
A Home Office post-mortem examination established the preliminary cause of death to be a head injury.
Kay-Ann Morris, 23, of Beckhampton Road in Bestwood Park, appeared before magistrates on Monday 4th August 2014 charged with her murder.
