A new road from Station Road (Ashgate Road) to Baker Street (Annesley Road) will be built. The new road will be a single carriageway with a 30 mph speed limit enforced.

In the new pedestrian zone, delivery vehicles will only be allowed to enter this area before 10am and after 4pm.

The scheme will also include a flood relief culvert under the new road to deal with the increased amount of flooding in the town in recent years.

From Monday 14 to Friday 18 March, Linby Road will be closed between Station Road and Linby Avenue, with residents access via Church Lane. Pedestrians will not be affected.
