MOTORISTS may face some delays while driving in Annesley Woodhouse after a road was damaged.
Warren Road was damaged after a water pipe burst last week - and now one lane and part of the footpath are closed.
A spokesman from Severn Trent said: “Severn Trent repaired a burst water pipe on Warren Road on 15th December.
“The repair was done using new technology that allowed us to fix the pipe without interrupting customer supplies.
“As such, no customer supplies were affected by either the burst or the repair.
“The burst did cause significant damage to the road and footpath and so the road has one lane closed and a section of footpath is also closed.
“These closures will remain in place until after Christmas while we agree with the council how and when the repairs will take place.”
