Western Power Distribution (WPD) reported the two incidents on Sunday, March 28 with engineers quickly on the scene to attempt to fix the outages.
618 homes in Selston were without power for several hours and a further 92 homes in Huthwaite still remain without power, with an estimate of 4.30pm being given for the issue to be fixed.
A spokesperson for WPD said on Twitter: “Engineers are working on a power cut in Selston and estimate to restore all supplies by 16:00.

Their website was updated at 3.30pm to say the incident had been resolved.
The following postcodes are still affected: NG17 2JX, NG17 2JG, NG17 2JA, NG17 2JD, NG17 2JJ, NG17 2NJ.
Western Power described the incident as ‘low voltage’ meaning a smaller, more localised issue.
