Mist hits Chesterfield and the East Midlands
The Met Office has forecast a continuing dull start to today, Tuesday, September 16, with mist and fog across Chesterfield and the East Midlands.
However, this is expected to gradually clear. Most areas should enjoy some sunny spells but these could be punctuated with isolated sharp showers, according to forecasters.
Tonight, there is mist and low cloud forecast which will drift inland from the North Sea with drizzle and fog patches affecting the area after midnight.
Temperatures may reach as high as 19 degrees centigrade and as low as 14 degrees centigrade.
