Missing Samantha found safe and well - brother thanks people who helped

Her disappearance on Monday morning had sparked a police missing person appeal and an emotional plea by her family for her to get in touch with them.

Nottinghamshire Police confirmed that she had been found last night (Wednesday).

Her relieved brother Philip Passant told Chad: “It is so good to have Samantha back I can’t thank enough al the people who have helped us.

“The police said there was a huge response to the appeal and it even went global.”

“I also want to thank everyone who put posters up for us.”

Thousands of people read the appeal on social media including the Chad’s Facebook site.

A statement from Nottinghamshire Police read: “Officers would like to thank the public and the media for their support of this and all our missing person appeal.”
