A Mansfield woman who has been reported missing could be in Germany, say police.

Concerns have been raised for the welfare of 61-year-old Wilma Colicchia, who was last seen near her home in Mansfield on Wednesday 8th January.

Police investigations have shown Wilma flew to Geneva the same day and then travelled to Germany.

She was thought to have visited Cologne, in the west of the country, as recently as Saturday (25th January) and is believed to staying in the area.

Wilma is thought to have been making approaches to television companies with a soap opera she has written called Thornley Dale.

Police are concerned as she has not taken her medication and could be very vulnerable.

She is white and about 5ft 8ins tall. She has short, straight, light brown hair, is of a stocky build and has a ruddy complexion.

She was last seen wearing black trousers and a purple coat.

Anyone who has seen Wilma or knows of her whereabouts should contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 (or from abroad +44 (0)115 9670999) or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
