Met Office warning for snow and ice on Monday night across Notts

Frequent sleet, snow and hail showers are expected on 23rd February and persisting well into Tuesday 24th.

Winds will be generally strong, with gusts of 60 mph or more likely at times.

The public should be aware of the risk of disruption to travel and for hazardous driving conditions at times.

A Met Office spokesman said: “Accumulating snow can be expected at low levels in places.”
