MESSAGE THE QUEEN: Last chance to personally congratulate the monarch on her lengthy reign at Mansfield Museum

Visitors at the Mansfield Museum have had the chance to congratulate the Queen on becoming the UK’s longest reigning monarch.

A guest book has been placed in one of the galleries for people to sign - and it will be sent off to the Queen herself.

Children were also able to draw and colour pictures that will be put into the book.

Jodie Henshaw, museum development officer, is a big fan of the royals.

She said: “I think it’s a great idea.

“I am hoping she might get to have a look at it with a cup of tea.”

This weekend is the last chance for you to sign the book before it is sent off to the Queen.

It will be moving to the customer service desk at the Four Seasons shopping centre all day Saturday (September 19).
