Campaigns have been launched in the past to rid the nuisance traffic calming measures, particularly along Ladybrook Lane where there are more than 20 in place.

Shopkeepers in the area say drivers avoid the street, which has affected their passing trade.

The meeting will be held at Ladybrook Community Centre this Sunday, February 28, at 6pm.

It will be chaired by county councillor, Darren Langton, who said: “We looked into average speed cameras instead of speed bumps but they are quite expensive.

“This is a chance for people to have their say and ask questions.”
