Meet the Ashfield MP down the pub

Natalie Wright, a new member of the Ashfield Labour Party, centre, chats with MP's Harriet Harman, the Labour Deputy Leader and Shadow Secretary of State for Culture Media and Sport and Gloria De Piero after a question and answer session as part of the 'Women in Politics Day 2013' held at the Ashwood Centre in Kirkby on Saturday.

Following on from the successful and busy surgery at the Dog & Quayle pub in Underwood a few weeks ago, she decided to hold this week’s in Sutton, Masons Arms on Unwin Road, Sutton, starting at 2pm.

Gloria is now appealing for anyone who wants to have a chat about any issue or concern they may have to get in touch with her office and book a slot as soon as possible.

All constituents are welcome and as always the MP will then take up any casework that arises with the relevant agencies or Government ministers.

Gloria said: “What struck me was just how successful my coffee mornings are so I’ve decided to branch out and start holding some surgeries in different locations as well. The feedback I got from the first trial surgery was really positive so it was a no brainer to continue.”
