“In October this year, the Mayor distributed her first newsletter called ‘Mansfield District Council Update’ to all residents across the district. The purpose of the publication is to keep residents updated on issues, news and projects being delivered across the council. The total cost for design, print and distribution of the Mansfield District Council Update newsletter edition one was £ 4,717.52

A decision was taken in July 2013 by the Head of Corporate Administration to support all elected members and the Mayor to produce quarterly newsletters to improve community engagement and effective communications. Therefore, the Executive Mayor along with all elected members is able to call on council resources to produce non-political localised newsletters of this nature”.
