Mansfield’s Crescent Primary School digs deep for Sport Relief
Pupils and staff at Mansfield’s Crescent Primary School came together on Thursday afternoon to raise funds for this year’s Sport Relief 2014.
Sport Relief wrist bands were on sale and the whole school came out to cheer as four members of the teaching staff, Lily Speelman, Sally Hamilton, Jean Jones and Paul Matthews, set off on a 5 mile run supported by teaching assistant Marie Hawkins on her bike.
Pupils, parents, carers and staff where then invited to donate £1.00 and any loose change before taking part in a 1 mile run, skip, hop or walk around the school field in support of this fantastic charity.
In total the school raised £513.42 in aid of Sport Relief 2014
