Mansfield’s Chesterfield Road North closed outbound

Mansfield’s Chesterfield Road has been closed to traffic heading out of town between Rosemary Street and Abbott Road until 3rd September between 8.30am-5pm.

A diversion will be in place for the duration of the road maintenance work.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire County Council’s traffic management team said the work’s effect would be lessened as it was happening during school holidays.

Meanwhile Mansfield’s Brick Kiln Lane will be closed from its junction with Cumberland Drive in northwards direction for 75 metres while traffic calming measures are renewed.

The road will be closed from 7am on 8th September until 11.59pm on 19th September.

There will be an alternate route between Abbott Road – Beck Lane – Skegby Lane – Ladybrook Lane and Vice Versa.
