Mansfield Woodhouse resident left 'petrified' after police cordoned off a street

Police have cordoned off a Mansfield Woodhouse road where a resident was left "petrified" after hearing "shouting and glass breaking".

Police have cordoned off Gladstone Street in Mansfield Woodhouse and a forensic team is currently at the scene.
The road which backs onto terrace houses was littered with what looked like broken windscreen glass and plastic car debris.

A neighbour who did not want to be named said she heard a commotion at about 1.30am this morning and the sound of breaking glass.
She said:"I heard shouting and cars spinning off. I was really petrified.
"I lay back in bed and saw the police lights flashing."

Police have been contacted for a statement.
