Michelle Dargue told staff at CeX, on Westgate, she had bought the phone a few days earlier and it wasn’t working, said prosecutor Neil Hollett.

Staff found the sim card was jammed and advised her to go to a phone repair shop, but when she returned shortly afterwards they found the sim card had been forced.

She began to shout and swear and was asked to leave.

“She said she would come back later and put their windows through,” Mr Hollett added.

Dargue, 38, of Chesterfield Road South, admitted disorderly conduct when she appeared at Mansfield Magistrates Court, on Friday.

In police interview she denied making the threat on on December 21, but accepted her behaviour was inappropriate.

She was fined £60, and ordered her to pay a £30 government surcharge and £85 costs.
