Mansfield teenager breaches order preventing him from an Kirkby estate within two hours

Alex Swain, of Coxs Lane in Mansfield Woodhouse, appeared at Mansfield Magistrates' Court yesterday (September,18) having pleaded guilty to breaching the CBO three times which prevented him from entering the Coxmoor area of Kirkby.

The order was issued to him on Thursday (September, 13) after he was found guilty of driving without due care and attention, driving without a license and driving without insurance and related to him driving his motorbike and behaving antisocially in the Coxmoor area.

He was given a one year community order and ordered to pay fines and costs. His CBO will continue for the full two years.

Sergeant Carl Holland, from the Ashfield neighbourhood policing team, said: "We will not let Swain continue to cause issues in Kirkby, and if he continues to breach his CBO, we will investigate and put him before the courts who will soon run out of patience with him."

The sentencing follows a collaboration with Ashfield District Council to tackle issues in the Coxmoor area.
