The pupils - aged 10 to 13 - were set the challenge of producing a short radio advert covering issues such as online safety, sharing images and healthy relationships.

"The adverts are focused towards safeguarding issues and prevention. They are about looking out for the warning signs and being careful about what information we share and who with," said Rachel White, of ucreate.

"We are trying to spread the message through social media to showcase the work they have done and highlight these issues."

The seven groups who have made the shortlist are: Bluecoat Beechdale Academy; Willow Brook Primary, Keyworth; St Philip Neri with St Bede Catholic Voluntary Academy, Mansfield; Henry Whipple Primary, Bestwood Estate; Barnby Road Academy, Newark; Blue Bell Hill Primary Group 03, St Ann's; and Blue Bell Hill Primary Group 10.
