GENEROUS staff at Mansfield restaurant Il Rosso continue to prove themselves fantastic fundraisers after they donated an extremely generous £935 for Chad’s MRI campaign.
Chad teamed up with Kings Mill Hospital bosses in June to launch the life changing appeal to raise a huge £750,000, which will be used to purchase a new-state-of-the-art MRI scanner for the hospital, allowing the tens of thousands of paitents currently being treated at the facility a much safer, faster and more detailed diagnosis.
The restaurant has been hosting tapas nights, supplying tapas to be available at the bar from 5-7pm, while encouring customers to give generously to the appeal.
Il Rosso representative Lee Everett said: “We’ve always supported charities, for the last few years it has been the NSPCC, and we’ve really enjoyed raising money for them. However when we saw the MRI appeal, we realised it was a great idea, and the fact it’s a strong, local campaign sealed the deal.”
As if this wasn’t enough, Il Rosso staff look to build on their already impressive total by auctioning a balloon ride experience for two in the coming weeks. Donations to our appeal can be made by visting Chad receptions, calling the customer services department at King’s Mill Hospital on 01623 672222, by visiting Sherwood Forest Hospital’s NHS Trust website, through Just Giving or by cheque.
All cheques should be made payable to Sherwood Forest Hospitals Charitable Funds.
