Mansfield mum-of-two: '˜Photoshoot boosted my confidence'

A mum of two and nursery worker in the running to become a calendar girl has said her confidence has been boosted after a lingerie photoshoot.

Katie Harris, of Burns Street, Mansfield, said the photoshoot she took part in was “out of character” for her.

It is now down to public vote to see if Katie will make it into this year’s UK Calendar Girls calendar, which raises money for prostate cancer.

The 33-year-old said the experience boosted her confidence and that “all of the girls were lovely” at the photoshoot in Nottingham’s Pryzm nightclub.

Katie, who has an 11-year-old daughter and a five-year-old son who is autistic, said: “Everyone at work has voted.

“It was really good, it definitely boosted my confidence.

“I live a hectic life, being a mum I don’t get much spare time, I did this photoshoot for me.”
