Mansfield MP in anti-social behaviour meeting

After reports of anti- social behaviour issues, MP Ben Bradley met with residents of Ladybrook and the Neighbourhood Policing Team at Brookside Hall.

Anthony Wharmby, chairman for the All Rise Community group contacted Mr Bradley after listening to elderly resident’s concerns.

Mr Wharmby said that he feels like something is now being done.

He added: “I feel quite positive about it now.”

He said: “It’s important that residents in Ladybrook and in all of Mansfield have support to deal with problems like antisocial behaviour, and that they have the opportunity to raise their concerns directly with the Police and other services.

Residents asked me to help them have that discussion and of course I’m very happy to do that.

“It’s really important people do report problems and antisocial behaviour, even if you feel like you won’t get an immediate response.

“ The police need to gather evidence and they can’t act on what they don’t know.”
