Mansfield man in court after £12,000 drugs find

A Mansfield man faces a Crown Court trial after drugs worth £12,000 were allegedly found at his home.

Liam Doran, of Milton Street appeared at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday charged with producing a class B drug.

The court heard that 21 cannabis plants with a street value of £12,000 were allegedly found at his home, on 20th February.

The prosecution also alleges that scales and deal bags were found along with the haul.

They allege Doran played a significant role in producing the drug.

Doran, 23 made no plea and was released on conditional bail.

He will appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 25th June.
