Mansfield man charged with attempted murder in court
A Mansfield man will appear in court charged with attempted murder today (November 17).
Joe Liffen, 25, of Cardle Close, was arrested on Sunday following a serious assault on a woman at a house on Felton Avenue, Mansfield Woodhouse, at around 3am.
A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said: “The victim was treated in hospital for injuries suffered in the assault.”
The injuries are believed to be serious, but not life-threatening.
Liffen will appear at Mansfield magistrates’ court this morning.
